| Bookings & Deposit: |
£100 is required to secure a date, and a booking agreement must be completed and signed. “Q” Video Production accepts your deposit as a booking fee and in doing so guarantees to honour the contract as set out in the agreement. The fee will be deducted from the final balance. If any details need to be changed by QVP you will be notified at the earliest opportunity, if unacceptable you will be allowed to terminate the contract with a full refund of any moneys paid. By paying the booking fee you agree to the contract as described and promise to pay all moneys due at the required time. You must notify QVP of any change of details, or cancellation, as soon as possible, with confirmation in writing. I do try to be fair and none of us can foresee the future so if for any reason the date has to be cancelled or postponed an early notification is encouraged as I will return the deposit less a small admin fee if I am able to re-book the date. A provisional booking can be requested if you wish to hold a date for a maximum of 7 days in order to view samples or forward a booking deposit. |
| Exclusions: |
Recording and editing will only be in accordance with the details in the agreement. QVP will use any, and only, equipment and personnel deemed necessary by QVP. Recording in actuality has many potential problems that may effect the quality of the video: adverse weather conditions, poor lighting, poor sound conditions, faulty materials, or faulty equipment, etc. Liability cannot be accepted for consequential losses due to circumstances outside of the control of QVP, or those that could not reasonable have been foreseen.
CHURCH WEDDINGS. It is
not uncommon for churches to make an additional charge to
permit weddings to be recorded. The charge varies
considerably from church to church so is not included in my
prices. It is the client's responsibility to request
permission for the ceremony to be recorded and to pay any
fee required.
I can only record in churches where this has been sought and
agreed in advance. Some churches will only allow one camera,
in those instances I will not be able to offer the
multi-camera option. |
| Payments: | The only payment required before the wedding
is the booking fee/deposit. The complete balance (less the booking fee) is required at the time of hand over of the first edit of the material. The material cannot be made available without the complete final payment. If payment is not made and the work not collected within fourteen days of notification an additional 10% fee will be added. If unable to make the final payment at the time of availability a deferred payment can be requested at the time. This can be set for a certain date, or stage paid over a six month period. A 5% charge is made for this service. If you wish to make payment before the work is completed I am happy to offer a 5% discount or 10% if the full payment is made within seven days of the time of booking. Payment can be made in cash, bankers cheque (clearance is required before material is released), direct bank transfer (prefrerred) or Pay-Pal. |
| Delivery: | The video is typically edited and ready for
viewing within one month of the wedding date, though this my be
slightly extended during busy times. It will be made available
to you in the format detailed on the booking form. If for any
reason you are not completely satisfied or there is a problem
with the video you can request a review. If the problem is of a
technical nature that will be rectified without charge, If the
request is for re-working or removal or any aesthetic change
(i.e. music) there will be a charge. This does not apply to the
full A-Line service or where a review is included in the price. Any request for review must be made within seven days of delivery. |
